Bryce and Nicola, and their daughter Paityn are situated at the lodge, making it one of the few owner run and managed lodges in the area. . Bryce has an extensive background as a guide and a manager, in many different National and Private Game Reserves within South Africa, and he also has experience in working in the Okavango Delta and Linyanthi in Botswana. He is absolutely passionate about the bush, and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
Candice handles reservations and general guest relations, and together with the help of Bennett, this dynamic duo ensure that each guest receives individual attention and that all the small touches are not overlooked.
Dave and Ankia, our two new guides.
They have a wealth of knowledge and passion, and come from a nearby reserve where they were based for about 3 years. Dave and Ankia alike will happily take you by vehicle or foot and open you up to a world of animals large and small, answer questions about plants, birds, geology, stars ………. and anything else that you can think to ask.
Neil continues to keep guests entertained with his subtle sense of humour, and willingness to take the time to identify the smaller and unique gems of the bush, that are often overlooked by others.
The most integral part of the team and happily an unchanged one at that continuously ensure with a smile that you always feel welcome and at home here at KAMBAKU.
